The aim of www.matchmag.co.uk is to provide a safe and informative football website for children.
Personal Information
In order for your child to play the website’s various games and to post on the message boards your child will be asked to register their personal details.
The details we ask for include your child’s name, age and e-mail address and these enable us to get a better idea of who uses www.matchmag.co.uk. For more information please read our Privacy Statement and the website’s Terms and Conditions.
Editorial
The editorial on www.matchmag.co.uk is aimed at 7-16 year olds and we will ensure there is never any unsuitable material on the website.
ONLINE FORUMS - RULES OF ACCEPTABLE USE
MATCH forums are provided for the exchange of information, opinions and comment on the new media world. Your use of these forums is subject to the following terms which, by your use of the forums, you are deemed to accept:
• You must get a parent or guardian’s permission before taking part
• Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else, including address, full name, telephone number or email address
• You may not use obscene or offensive language.
• You may not place on the site any material which is defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or hateful.
• You may not place on the site any material which may encourage criminal conduct or which may give rise to civil liability, or which is otherwise unlawful.
• You may not place on the site any material belonging to any person other than yourself without the prior written consent of the owner of it.
• You may not place on the site advertisements or make commercial solicitations.
• Whilst we do not generally pre-screen submissions placed on our Online Forums, we do have the right (but not the obligation) at our sole discretion to review, edit, move or delete any material submitted to our Online Forums.
• If any of the online forum rules are broken, posts can be removed and accounts can be temporarily or permanently suspended
• You grant MATCH and Bauer Consumer Media the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, translate and distribute any material you place on the site.
• MATCH and Bauer Consumer Media accept no responsibility for any statements, material or other submissions placed on our Online Forums by you or any third party, or for any loss or damage resulting from your breach of these Rules of Acceptable Use.
You agree to indemnify MATCH and Bauer Consumer Media, and their representatives and employees from any and all claims and liabilities (including legal fees) which arise from your statements, contributions or other submissions to our Online Forums, from any unauthorised use of material obtained from our Online Forums or otherwise from your breach of our Rules of Acceptable Use.
